The Jettribe RS-15 Race Series Side-Entry Life Vest is built and inspired by direct professional racers’ input. We at Jettribe listened to our team riders and pushed the development to the next level. The RS-15 Race Vest is built beyond the manufacturing specs of the USCG. We started the side entry opening from both sides. We also included additional flotation which is helpful when racers have extra weight like riding gear and a helmet. Plus, the outer shell is constructed of 420 D nylon (the USCG requires only a 180 D nylon). We also included a compression molded front and back panel to provide additional impact protection.
With a tremendous amount of hard work, sweat, and tears we have developed and brought this essential piece of riding equipment to you. We have tested and proven this vest at all of the USA National Race Tours like the IJSBA and the APBA. Plus, at the international level at the World King’s Cup PWC Racing in Thailand.
Even though this vest is built to meet or exceed the CE and USCG standards type III PDF, as of January 2011 we have not submitted the RS-15 race vest for testing yet. Legally, we have to state that this vest is not approved by the USCG yet.
